This is a personal project I created to make a Star-Wars style space hangar. All of the models were created using Cinema 4D and textured using Substance Painter. The scene was setup in Unreal Engine using a purchased HDRI starfield for the space seen through the hangar door. The panel textures for the wall and floor were created in ZBrush (for the normal maps) and Substance Painter (for the color and metal wear).

The logic behind the crate design was that they were built for power loaders to pick up, so there were yellow metal “handles” that a power loader would use to hook onto the crate and pick it up. The hard surface details for the crates were all created using Substance Painter.

The ship was modeled in Cinema 4D, using some techniques from Pablo Dominguez and his Learnsquared course on Vehicle Concept Design.

Props and other objects like fuel canisters were modeled in Cinema 4d and textured in Substance Painter. These were given a contrasting color as this was considered something possibly dangerous that dispenses fuel, so it was given a bright color for safety.

These water canisters were modeled in Cinema 4D and textured in Substance Painter, including hard surface detail, rust, dirt, and decals.
